新箸の祝い
新小麦の粉でうどんや団子を作り、ススキや茅の青茎で作った箸で食べる日で、別名「青箸の日」「青箸の年取り」などとも呼ばれています。土地によっては赤飯に尾花(ススキの穂)、青竹の箸を添えて神棚に供えます。新箸は翌朝早く川に流しますが、本来は青い稲穂を神様に供え、豊作を祈願する行事であったといわれています。
